Dissolution of My Self Voice Cast

Dissolution of My Self ships full Japanese voice acting even when you read English or Simplified Chinese. The performances are not a bonus track. Store copy tells you not to take Hector at face value; demo patch notes added replay and per-character volume because the studio knew you would need to hear a line twice. This page is the credit sheet plus the settings that make those credits usable.

Hector — Netoru Irakusa (刺草ネトル)

Press (Noisy Pixel, Automaton West) credits Netoru Irakusa as Hector. English storefront spelling varies slightly (Irakusa / Iragusa in a livestream headline). The Japanese credit is 刺草ネトル. Previous roles called out in coverage include Azuma in Paradise and Seiji in Room No.9.

Hector’s signature store line is “Your body is my only territory.” The FAQ warns that the protagonist loves running his mouth and that those views are not the author’s. If a line sounds like a joke from hell, that is on purpose. Replay it. Then decide whether he is being literal. Pills and choices change the filter on how he talks. Click order changes which wound is open. Neither system recasts the actor.

In August 2026 the studio announced a demo livestream with Netoru Irakusa to celebrate the upcoming 1.0. That was a promotional play session, not a second story. If you missed it, you still have the in-game voice and the demo.

Matvey — Tetsuto Furukawa (古川徹人)

Tetsuto Furukawa voices Matvey. Japanese press (4Gamer) and English coverage agree on the credit; this wiki uses 古川徹人. Coverage mentions NO, THANK YOU!!! protagonist Haru and Japanese versions of Full Service characters (Remi Svensson, Hisami Kondo).

Matvey’s store line: “If you were nothing more than family to me, my child would be old enough to walk by now.” He is easier to under-hear if you treat him as furniture. He is not furniture. He is the unlicensed electrician keeping the apartment plugged in. Turn his character slider up. Matvey explains the stacked jobs. This page only tells you whose voice is doing that work.

Settings that exist so you can hear them

Demo 1.0.8 (July 2, 2026) added:

• Voice replay
• Character voice volume separate from other audio
• Text speed

Title-screen settings arrived in the same 1.0.8 wave. You should not have to hunt a buried pause menu to make Hector quieter than Matvey, or the reverse.

How voice interacts with the room

Objects blur after you spend them. Voices do not unlock a second ending. They color the same collapse. English text is a translation of a Japanese performance, not a replacement for it. If you mute voices to “read faster,” you will miss the joke the store promised. If you leave voices on and skip text, you will miss the disclaimer that Hector is an unreliable narrator.

A practical first-hour habit: after any line that makes you flinch, hit replay before you click the next chair. Then mark the object on the memory order planner. The planner will not record tone. You have to.
